There will be an Art Show at National Harbor in the
Gaylord Hotel
that ought to be an interesting, relaxing and enjoyable event.
March 27-28 , 11am - 5pm Daily
It is called Metropolitan Food, Libations & Luxury Home Show. There will be about 200 artists there from all over the country, each with our own booth.
I am in Booth # 655, right beside Banana Man David Schmidt....some of you may know him and already own some of his wacky Banana photographs. I will also be beside Matt Johnston, who is known far and wide for his paintings of "Tall Tulips".
There will be fancy food tasting, hosted by many of the fine local restaurants and a big Luxury Home section, featuring high end items and services, from appliances to Landscape Architects. There will also be a "Libations" section" (fancy drinks I suppose) so it sounds like there will be a lot to do and see.
I'll be showing many of my new pieces, including recent paintings and drawings from my Jazz Club/musician series.
Also, if you have been considering a "Different Kind of Family Portrait", come and talk about your ideas.
The cost is $15. per ticket BUT I CAN GIVE YOU FREE TICKETS if you get back to me PRONTO.
Send me your address and I'll send them to you. I am sending this announcement to my Email list of 3000 and I only have 200 free tickets so let me know ASAP. Send your address to my Email
cochranstudios@aol.com
These tickets will get you in the Art Show, Home Show and Food Area. You may upgrade your ticket for the Libations for $20. @ your option. Here is the show's Web site for more information

and click on the DC Metropolitan Show.
You know you have been wanting to see what National Harbor is all about so this is your PERFECT opportunity/excuse to head over. The entire event takes place in the MOST IMPRESSIVE GRAND BALLROOM of the Fabulous Gaylord Hotel, which you have heard so much about. FYI: National Harbor is just over the Wilson Bridge on the Maryland side, across the Potomac from the Torpedo Factory.
An interesting and fun way to get there is to park in Old Town Alexandria and take the boat which leaves about every 45 minutes (catch it behind the Torpedo Factory) over to National Harbor.
Feel free to call me with any questions (703/684-7855) I'm attaching a couple recent ads to show you what I have been up to.
I look forward to seeing you at the show.............David Cochran
